Tai Chi (pronounced "Tie Chee") Qigong (pronounced "Chee Gung")

Tai Chi & Qigong are ancient mind/body cleansing exercises designed to process the stress loads we accumulate each day, so that we can release them and enablethe mind and body to operate in its highest mode of efficiency and health.

Tai Chi & Qigong combine gentle body movements, deep breathing techniques, and intentful meditation and/or visualization techniques.

FREE CLASS

Tai Chi in the Park

On-going Class Every Tuesday 5:30-6:30 pm
Join us at Pfiffner Park in from of the Bandshell in Stevens Point to learn easy Tai Chi movements, breathing and meditation to calm the body and mind and help promote overall health and relaxation. This class differs from traditional Tai Chi in that it is less about the actual movements and more about the powerful internal healing that takes place through deep relaxation. No experience needed, join in at any time. FREE and open to the public.


Private Sessions

Tai Chi and Qigong are all available for individual training with private sessions, or any Movement Therapy classes can be taken into the workplace or special event for small or large sized groups. Please contact The Wellness Spa to design a program and time that fits your specific needs, business needs or special event.

Deborah Adams has been in the wellness field for over 25 years, licensed massage therapist and certified in personal training, lifestyle change and Tai Chi. Founder and owner of The Wellness Spa, Inc. in Stevens Point since 1994 and the creator of Camp Goddess™ , she shares the word of wellness through lectures, educational seminars, and retreats covering a variety of topics in stress management, massage, Qigong and Tai Chi, with a focus on enlightening those around her to the amazing healing powers each of us possess within.
