There are always wellness-focused classes and events happening at The Wellness Spa.  Keep an eye out for these as they are regularly posted and sent out through the Wellness Spa email list, but past class and events have included things like:

This list is just a sample and be watching as we look to expand our offerings in connection with Destination Wellness and the Water Dragon Inn and Retreat Center.

Soothing Sounds Meditation

Schedule:  Saturday May 20, 2023 – 11:30am – 1:00pm.

Price:  $35/class

Format:  Class Size Limited – please sign up at The Wellness Spa front desk or call 715-341-3333 to reserve your place in class. Workshops are on a pre-pay, non-refundable registration basis.

Description – One of our most popular special events! Experience a full sound journey using a combination of crystal singing bowls, gong, ocean drum, intentional mantras, meditation, and restorative yoga to soothe your body and mind while connecting your spirit to higher source and self. Allow sound and frequencies to impact you on a cellular level and awaken you to new heights while grounding you in calmness.

This is a relaxing but impactful class. No prior yoga experience needed. Open to ages 16 and up. Please bring your own yoga mat & water bottle.

Schedule:  Wednesday, May 24, 2023 – 4:30-5:30pm

Format:  Pre-Pay or Drop-in.  No guaranteed place without early sign-up/pre-pay.

Description – It is easy to look outside ourselves for the answers we seek, but all the wisdom we will ever need is within us, if we are willing to be still and listen to our subtle inner voice. By utilizing yogic technology to quiet the mind and connect to our breath, with practice, meditation can open awareness, quiet chaos, improve sleep, and benefit overall health while learning to give ourselves permission to just BE. This class is intended for ages 12 and up, no prior experience needed.

Emotional Wellness Through Meditation & Ritual

Schedule:  Each Monday 5:30-6:30pm, Beginning January 9, 2023.

Instructor:  Lexie Leonhard

Price:  $15/class ~ Purchase 4 classes for $52

Format:  Pre-Pay or Drop-in.  No guaranteed place without early sign-up/pre-pay.

Description – This weekly offering is the self-care you need to start the week off right! This is a time to set aside worries, lists, and obligations while giving yourself time and space to reset. Escape to this sacred space to relax and connect inwardly without distraction, a place where you can just be.

Each gathering is unique with a collection of various tools to facilitate this spiritual and emotional work: candlelit guided visual meditation, reflective journaling, sound healing, creative expression, and more. Sacred Soul is all about reflection, emotional wellness, and self-care. This is not meditation to quiet the mind, but to engage the mind in deep soul work that allows you to make the changes you want in your life, to face your truth, and to connect with your intuition.

No experience in meditation is required and all spiritual and gender expressions are welcome. Come as you are! $15 per class, or purchase 4 classes for $52 (save $8).

Things to Bring:  Journal, pen, & whatever you need to comfortably relax and be cozy (yoga mat, pillow, cushion, blanket, etc.).

Format:  Drop-in.  Class begins promptly at 5:30 pm.

Free and Open to the Public  – Easy to learn Tai Chi and Qigong movements, focused breathing & guided meditation to calm the body and mind and help promote relaxation, internal healing and overall wellness. No experience needed; a different class taught at a beginner level every week, so joining any time is easy and stress-free.

Schedule:  Each Wednesday 6:00-6:45 pm
