Make Your Experience the Best it can be . . .
A visit to The Wellness Spa is your experience and our first consideration is your personal comfort and relaxation. Please let us know, at any time during your visit, if you are in need of anything or we could be doing something better. We welcome any comments or suggestions.
Arrival: Please arrive 15-30 minutes prior to your appointment time to relax and prepare yourself. We regret that late arrivals will not receive their full appointment time.
Amenities: You have the option of changing into a comfy robe and spa sandals before your spa service, use the infra-red heat sauna or simply rest in one of our beautiful relaxation areas, please plan ahead to arrive with plenty of time for yourself to use these amenities. Separate locker room facilities are available for women and men with showers and all the amenities needed.
Chemical Sensitivities: Many people today (including some of our staff) have sensitivities to perfumes, cologne, hair care products and heavily scented body care products. We ask that you respect these issues by not wearing perfumes or scented products and not applying them while in a treatment room or locker rooms. The Wellness Spa does use pure aromatherapy oils rather than synthetic products in our services for this reason, but please let our front desk know of any allergies or sensitivities when making your appointment so we can refrain from any scents for your treatment.
Baby On Board: If you are pregnant or believe you may be, please inform us when scheduling your appointments. Some services may be contra-indicated for pregnant women, especially within the first trimester of a pregnancy. Though massage is wonderful during pregnancy and we have trained staff for your services, we suggest getting your doctor’s approval before making an appointment.
For Your Comfort: Standards of draping with sheets and towels are used to ensure modesty and comfort for both you and your service provider, we also have rooms and tables designed for physically challenged individuals, please let us know when making your appointment if extra time and/or assistance will be needed.
Suggestions for Effective Spa-ing: Some services such as massage and body treatments are intended to detoxify your system, however, detoxifying treatments can result in headaches and tiredness due to the elimination of toxins from the body. For this reason, it is important to refrain from alcohol or caffeinated products before or after your spa service and to drink plenty of water to help speed the elimination process and flush toxin from the body. We use professional skin and body care products for our treatments at The Wellness Spa and suggest at-home use to ensure the continuation of results long after your visit with us.
Spa Reservations: All services are by reservation and are based on availability. We require reservations be held with a credit card or pre-payment for all services.
Cancellation Policy: We require a 24 hour notice of cancellation or service/time change of scheduled appointment. If you cancel within the 24-hour period or do not show for the appointment(s), you are subject to a 50% charge of the total service(s) booked [to the credit card holding the reservation].
Age Requirements: The Wellness Spa is designed and intended to be an adult wellness center. However, there are occasions where children can be booked for services. Children are not allowed in treatment areas, locker rooms, or event areas unless they are receiving a Wellness Spa services or participating in a class or event. In all cases the following guidelines apply:
- Children ages 6-17 years old are required to have a Parental Consent Form signed and on file at The Wellness Spa to receive any spa treatments or services.
- Children ages 6-14 must have an adult guardian present on the spa premises for the duration of their spa visit including during treatment time.
- Unfortunately, The Wellness Spa cannot accommodate Children under the age of 6. To respect the experience of other guests, children under 6 are not permitted in the spa or salt spa at any time.
Cellular Phone Use: We try to provide an environment in which our guests can relax – for this reason, if you must have your cellular phone or pager with you, we ask that you set these devices to ring on ‘silent’. We also ask that any cellular phone conversations, including any texting, be held outdoors so that other guests are not disturbed.
Carry-Ins: Personal food and beverages are not allowed, including alcoholic beverages. If you are interested in food or beverages for your group event, party or special occasion, please contact our Group Reservations Coordinator for more information.
Gratuities: Tips are not included in our service prices and are left to your discretion.
Smoke Free Environment: We ensure a healthy environment for our clients, guests, and staff. Please refrain from smoking in the Spa, Salt Spa, Boutique or anywhere on the property.
