Waxing Guidelines
- Allow hair to grow at least 14 days or be ¼ inch long.
- Cease shaving or tweezing the desired area to be waxed.
- Avoid exfoliating 48 hours prior to waxing, including use of alpha-hydroxy acids.
- For bridal, special occasions or vacations, we recommend waxing body hair 48 hours prior to the event and one week prior for facial hair.
- You may experience redness, skin irritation, or (uncommon, but possible) heat bumps, blisters, bruising, or pin-dot bleeding from hair follicles.
We do not recommend waxing if:
- You are using any topical medication for the treatment of your skin.
- You are pregnant and have never had waxing done before.
- You are diabetic.
- Your skin is overly sensitive, dry or thin.
