There are always wellness-focused classes and events happening at The Wellness Spa.  Keep an eye out for these as they are regularly posted and sent out through the Wellness Spa email list, but past class and events have included things like:

  • Regular Tuesday Tai Chi Class

  • Weekend Goddess Retreats

  • Couples Massage Classes

  • Salt Spa Forums

  • Weekend Qigong Trainings

This list is just a sample and be watching as we look to expand our offerings in connection with Destination Wellness and the Water Dragon Inn and Retreat Center.

Current Classes and Events – Spring 2024

Schedule:  Thursday, April 11 & 25; May 9 from 5:30 pm – 6:45 pm.

Format:  Class Size Limited – Please sign up at The Wellness Spa front desk or call 715-341-3333 to reserve your place in class. Weekly classes can be pre-pay or drop-in, but no guaranteed place in class without early sign-up/pre-pay.

Cost:  $15 per class

Description:  This is a workshop style class that is intentionally and intuitively guided. Each time we meet we will work with different practices and activities, some of which may be self-guided to bring clarity and awareness into different areas of your being. This class is designed to give you time and space for self-reflection, self-study and integration. Some of the practices we may dive into are journaling, meditation, restoration, breathwork, creative writing, oracles, art, sound healing, and discussion to bring forward clarity, self-understanding, embodiment and personal power.

Things to Bring: Journal and pen, yoga mat/pillow, cushion, blanket, etc. (whatever you need to comfortably relax).

Schedule:  Mondays, from 5:30 pm – 7:00 pm.

Cost:  Free – $15 per class

Description:  Just BE Meditation ~ FREE Class 5:30-5:55pm it is easy to look outside ourselves for the answers we seek, but all the wisdom we will ever need is within us, if we are willing to be still and listen to our subtle inner voice. By utilizing yogic technology to quiet the mind and connect to our breath, with practice, meditation can open awareness, quiet chaos, improve sleep, and benefit overall health while learning to give ourselves permission to just BE. This class is intended for ages 10 and up, no prior experience needed. Can be taken prior to Mindful Flow yoga.

Mindful Flow Yoga ~ 6:00-7:00pm
Deepen your connection to your body and breath through mindful movement. This class will explore and use a combination of various asanas and practices to improve strength, increase flexibility, and enhance awareness. Please bring your own personal yoga mat, water bottle, and towel – all other equipment will be provided. (extra mats are available if needed).

Schedule:  Each Tuesday 5:30-6:30pm at The Wellness Spa.

Instructor:  Deborah Adams, Tom Bertram or Guest Instructor

Format:  Drop-in.  Class begins promptly at 5:30 pm.

Free and Open to the Public  – Easy to learn Tai Chi and Qigong movements, focused breathing & guided meditation to calm the body and mind and help promote relaxation, internal healing and overall wellness. No experience needed; a different class taught at a beginner level every week, so joining any time is easy and stress-free.

Schedule:  Each Wednesday 6:00-6:45 pm
